Safavieh is an international home furnishings corporation, occupying warehouse space and manufacturing facilities on three continents. Founded in Isfahan in 1914, Safavieh has had tremendous growth andhas been based out of the United States since 1978. For their new distribution warehouse in Savannah, Georgia, Safavieh hired Rogers Mechanical Contractors to design and build their 500,000 SF crossdock facility. This class A warehouse building is constructed of conventional steel frame and concrete tilt-up wall panels with a .60 Mil TPO roof membrane, ESFR fire suppression system, LED lighting throughout and 5,000 SF of administrative office space. The 36-foot clear height facility has 103 dock doors, four drive-in ramps, site security fencing and a 185-foot deep concrete truck court on both sides — providing a total of 140 trailer parking spaces.
