Pratt & Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power units. In an effort to centralize much of their engine repair and overhaul work, Pratt & Whitney contracted Rogers Mechanical Contractors to provide fast track design/build services for their new world-class jet engine maintenance facility.

Rogers Mechanical Contractors completed a factory expansion with accessory office. The 105,620 SF facility was constructed of precast panels with rigid insulation. A new 2’’ polyiso roof with 60 mil TPO membrane was installed over the existing insulation and membrane. New storefront doors and windows were installed with framing clear anodized low-e, high efficiency dual pane glass. An 8-ton crane system, balance machine and shroud were also installed.

This is the second renovation Rogers has completed for Pratt & Whitney, the first being their centralized military and commercial engine aftermarket repair and overhaul work center.
